Youth and College
 

Purpose

This team oversees the youth ministry of our middle school and senior high youth as well as looking for ways to integrate college students from local universities.

Membership

The Youth and College team welcomes anyone who likes or would like to be part of the lives of our youth inside and outside the church.

Meetings

The team currently meets the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. during Ministry Team Night or as needs arise.

Activities

• The Great Escape, a faith-building camp sponsored by Youth Conference Ministries
• Fun in the Son, a summer camp sponsored by Youth Conference Ministries
• Care packages for the youth of our congregation currently in college
• Lunches with college students during breaks from college
• Local, regional and international mission projects such as Agape Corner in Durham and community service at various venues in Mexico
