Our Church

Purpose

Ministry teams that meet regularly to support a specific function of the life of our congregation.

Membership

• Administrative Support provides support to our program and administrative staff. They oversee our website as well as taking care of insurances, office equipment and other items needed in support of the church staff.
• Congregational Care works to care for our members who have a special need. Meals are provided for illness, hospitalizations and births. In addition, sponsor families are recruited to be paired with new members to help assimilate them into the life of our church.
• Congregational Commitment handles our annual stewardship campaign as well as our Ministry & Missions Fair every August They are charged with informing the congregation about tithing of our time, talent and money.
• Facilities and Grounds Maintenace keeps the building running and spruced up, both inside and out. They oversee minor repairs done by volunteers to major repairs by contractors. Workdays are scheduled throughout the year to take care of special projects and clean-up, both inside and out.
• Fellowship ministry team sponsors annual events which provide opportunities for fellowship, celebration and renewal. Some of these include our Bingo & Pizza nights, annual pool party/cook-out, the adult Christmas party and many other events. There are also seasonal meals held in members' homes which provide an excellent opportunity for fellowship.
• Finance and Budget ministry team oversees our receivables and payables. They perform annual audits of our financial records and schedule and train our offering counters.
• Hospitality ministry team helps make people feel welcomed on Sunday mornings. Participants of this team host at one of the entrances or at the main doors of the sanctuary as well as pass out bulletins and take up offering.
• Site Development ministry team is focused on the current and future expansion of our facilities. They look at obtaining property in the area as well as overseeing building expansion, current and future.

Meetings

Each team usually meets every first Wednesday of the month during Ministry Team Night at 6:30PM.
