Divorce Care for Kids

DC4K is a special group to help children heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents.  At our weekly DC4K group, kids make friends with other kids who understand how they feel and the things they are going through because of the divorce of their parents.

Best of all, children will learn how God's love can strengthen them and help turn tears into hope and joy!

DC4K Details

Our DC4K group meets weekly in 13-week cycles. The program will include a variety of simple and non-threatening activities for children to choose among.  The goal is to provide a safe place with activities that are intended to help kids work through their feelings.  There will be a consistent staff (including trained teachers as well as other loving volunteers).  Activities include a simple craft time, a personal activities book relating to the weekly discussion topic, music, a DVD presentation entitled "Kids Just Like Me" and a weekly Bible story video.

Ages: DC4K is designed for children ages 5 through 12.
