Purpose

Ministry teams that meet regularly to support a specific function of the life of our community.

Membership

• Community Outreach oversees local outreach and assistance programs such as:
  • Agape Corner
  • Pregnancy Support Services
  • Housing of New Hope
  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Ronald McDonald House
  • Triangle Hospice
  • Durham Crop Walk (energy assistance programs and hunber ministries)
• Community Relations takes care of advertising our services and special events in local newsletters.  They are also responsible for a team of volunteers who go out on Sundays and visit our "First Time Visitors" to answer any questions the may have about Triangle.  Along with the Hospitality Team, they provide Shuttle Service when needed to alleviate parking problems.

Meetings

Each team usually meets every first Wednesday of the month during Ministry Team Night at 6:30PM.

Activities

• Meals for families staying at the Ronal McDonald House
• Collecting toiletries for families and persons in need
• Walk against hunger at the Duke University Campus
• Social events for children in need
• Orientation and support for pregnant women
• Many more...
