Sunday Morning Topical Classes - 10:00 AM

The Book of Revelation
Facilitator: Kevin D
Location: Fellowship Hall A

The book of Revelation is often avoided because it is seen as too confusing, mysterious, or controversial.  Join Kevin to gain a better understanding of this often-misunderstood book.

Parent Care
Facilitator: Bob W
Location: Fellowship Hall B

Are you in the midst of helping provide care for your parents, either hands-on, long distance, or somewhere in between?  At the same time, are you caring for children of your own?  Do you wonder where you might get answers to your concerns?  If you have answered yes to one or more of these questions, you are not alone.  A number of TPC members are in the midst of caring for aging parents or others while caring for their own families.  Couples in this category have been appropriately termed the "sandwich generation."  If you are in this group, this class just might help!

Witnesses of the Gospel
Facilitator: Casey C.
Location: Family Life Center

We all know the good news of Jesus Christ, and we all have benefited from God's amazing grace.  We have seen lives changed by the power of the Holy Spirit, and our lives have been changed as well.  Knowing what we know, and seeing what we have seen, how do we show the world this good news?  How do we witness, in word and deed, to the gospel of Jesus Christ?  How can God use imperfect people like us to do his work on this earth?  These are the questions that will drive this class as we discuss the ways that we are called to be God's witnesses in this world.

We are very familiar with songs of Christmas, whether they are hymns, carols, or jingles. Christmas music is even played in stores and on the radio weeks before Thanksgiving. But there are four songs recorded in the Bible that we aren’t so familiar with. In this class we’ll take a look at four songs from the story of the birth of Christ, songs from Mary, Simeon, Zechariah and the angels.

Sunday Morning Fellowship Classes - 10:00 AM

Single Adults in the Lord Together (SALT):  Genesis
Location: Rm 101
Facilitator: Donna M.

The Bible starts with a bang.  In the first few chapters it addresses life's more important questions.  What is God like? Why I am here? How did it all begin? Where is it all going? This practical study provides an overview of Genesis and its themes, everyday applications of the truths of Genesis, and insighful explanations of creation, the origin of evil, and God's rescue plan.

Fellowship Class:  Colossians - Against the Tide
Facilitator: Jeannie P.
Location: Media Center 209

The Book of Colossians teaches principles for living a Christian life in the midst of a non-Christian culture. Sometimes this calls for us to stand against the tide of public opinion or popular trends. This nine-session course addresses such issues as how to please God, develop a stable walk with God, think like a Christian, practice spiritual self-defense, live with a focus and become a prayer warrior.

Wednesday Night Bible Study - 6:00 PM

Everyone is welcome and invited to join Pastor Casey in studying the book of 1 Samuel. Every Wednesday at 6:00PM come together in Room 206 in a relaxed environment and see what God has to show us as we study His Word. If you need to, you can even grab a meal and bring it on the way home from work and eat as we meet.

Men's Thursday Morning Bible Study - 6:30 AM

All men are invited to a Bible Study at the Hardee's at Highway 54/Alston Avenue at 6:30AM.  The group is led by Pastor Ray and is currently studying the book of Psalms.

Women's Thursday Night Bible Study - 7:00 PM

All women are invited to a Discipler’s Bible Study on the book of Ephesians. The group is led by Pam C. and meets at 7:00PM in the Media Center (Room 209).

Special Classes

Inquirer's Class
Facilitator: Rev. Ray Cobb
Location: Room 100

Time: 10:00AM

This special class is taught periodically through the year by the Pastor and is geared especially toward those who have questions about the life and ministry of Triangle Presbyterian Church. We will explore such things as: what it means to be a Presbyterian, what programs are offered through this church, where did this church come from and what is the vision for the future. So...if you are a life-long Presbyterian or you're brand new to the church, it matters not. Come and Join the Pastor as we explore together the possibilities of worship and service through the ministry of this church.
