Sunday Morning Topical Classes - 10:00 AM

The Bible Class:   1 John

Facilitator:  Harry A.

Location: Fellowship Hall A

In this small but deep book, we learn about the radical love of Jesus Christ, the demands of truth, and how we are to live as a church community. Join this class to learn about these themes as well as other messages that God would have us know for our lives.

The Prodigal God

Facilitator: Kristen C.

Location: Family Life Center

This class will take closer at the characters from Jesus' well-known, but often misunderstood story, The Prodigal Son. We'll look at the irreligious younger son, the moralistic elder son, and the father who lavishes love on both.

We are very familiar with songs of Christmas, whether they are hymns, carols, or jingles. Christmas music is even played in stores and on the radio weeks before Thanksgiving. But there are four songs recorded in the Bible that we aren’t so familiar with. In this class we’ll take a look at four songs from the story of the birth of Christ, songs from Mary, Simeon, Zechariah and the angels.

Sunday Morning Fellowship Classes - 10:00 AM

SALT Class (Single Adults in the Lord Together): Confronting Controversies

Facilitator: Donna M.

Location: Room 100

Do you have an opinion on the death penalty, abortion, euthanasia, prayer in public schools?  These are some of the tough issues Adam Hamilton explores and shows us how to look at them from a biblical perspective, and arrive at a faithful response.

Fellowship Class: Psalms

Facilitator: Jeannie P.

Location: Media Center 209

The Book of Psalms reassures us that God is always good, no matter what is happening in our lives.  It also points out that God wants to be our Father, to shelter us, to give us peace, to help us avoid panic, to give us confidence, and to keep us near him.

Wednesday Night Bible Study - 6:00 PM

Everyone is welcome and invited to join Pastor Casey in studying the book of 1 Samuel.  Every Wednesday at 6:00 PM come together in room 206 in a relaxed environment and see what God has to show us as we study His Word.  If you need to, you can even grab a meal and bring it on the way from work and eat as we meet.

Men's Thursday Morning Bible Study - 6:30 AM

On break.

Women's Thursday Night Bible Study - 7:00 PM

On break.  This study will resume on September 16 at 6:45 in the Media Center (Room 209).

Special Classes

Inquirer's Class
Facilitator: Rev. Ray Cobb
Location: Room 100

Time: 10:00AM

This special class is taught periodically through the year by the Pastor and is geared especially toward those who have questions about the life and ministry of Triangle Presbyterian Church. We will explore such things as: what it means to be a Presbyterian, what programs are offered through this church, where did this church come from and what is the vision for the future. So...if you are a life-long Presbyterian or you're brand new to the church, it matters not. Come and Join the Pastor as we explore together the possibilities of worship and service through the ministry of this church.
