40 Days in the Word is a church-wide campaign which is designed to help our congregation Love the Word, Learn the Word and Live the Word like never before. Everyone is encouraged to commit to join in taking 40 days to become immersed in God’s word.
How to participate:

Join a small group if you are not already a member of one. The core of this campaign is a six-week small group study that will teach you easy methods for reading and meditating on Scripture; techniques for meaningful quiet time with God; how to memorize scripture; sound principles for accurate Bible interpretation; and a step-by-step process for applying God’s Word to your life.

Register/RSVP. This will reserve a copy of the workbook for you and let us know if we can help you get linked up with a small group. It will also help us coordinate food and childcare for special 40 Days in the Word events planned at TPC.

Attend the 40 Days Fair during the Sunday School hour on January 29. This will provide you with an opportunity to connect with your small group leaders, learn more about the special community service project, and pick up your workbook.

Attend the Kickoff Potluck at 5pm on January 29. We’ll enjoy a meal together and then have a short service to give praise to God for the ways He will transform our lives and our church through this campaign.

Participate in the Community Outreach Event on March 17. We will be working on a variety of projects with Housing for New Hope. Watch for more details as we get closer to the event date.

Attend the 40 Days Celebration Single Service at 10:30am on March 18. We’ll celebrate and hear the stories of the ways God has blessed us during our journey together!
